2 Months!

Georgia Kate turned 2 months on April 11th, so I am writing this post a little late, but I want it for posterity's sake!

2 Month Stats:

Weight: 12lbs, 15 oz (95%)
Height: Just over 23 in (95%)
Head Circumference: 16in (90%)

She's a growing girl!!!!!

Loves: Her swing, smiling and laughing by throwing her head to the side, kisses and hugs from mommy and daddy, getting her diaper changed, being naked (!), taking a bath, eating!, her car seat (once the car is in motion), taking naps during the day, her play mat, white noise, going for a walk (sometimes), being held and rocked by mommy and daddy, looking out the window, staring at lights, ceiling fans, and just staring in general, watching mommy's lips move, trying to coo and talk

Dislikes: Being put in her car seat, going to bed at night, her crib (still working on this one...), tummy time, falling asleep (at night she fights her exhaustion with a vengeance sometimes!), taking a bottle (finally got her used to a bottle and she gets one from her daddy once every other day to give mommy a break - yippee!)

To say I love this little girl is quite the understatement! The first 4-6 weeks were a bit of an adjustment, but once I came out of the haze of extreme fatigue of new baby and the mourning of my former life, I have fallen in love with motherhood and my precious gift from God, Georgia Kate. The burden of being a new mom can be heavy, but the blessings are beyond this world!

Thank you, Jesus, for this little life that grew inside me and is now my bff for life!!!

Well, hello there, sweet friends!

2011 is the year of great change in the Wheeless household! Therefore, I think it's time I jump into the blogosphere with both feet! I mean, I do have a baby now, right?! That means I have to also have a blog! And, we are moving several states away from all we know and love. So, here we are!

I really want to blog for selfish reasons-- I don't want our friends and family to forget about us!!! Hopefully, this blog will serve to keep you up-to-date on all that is happening in our lives!

Feel free to follow along with us as we journey through life seeking to glorify our faithful God in all we do! With God's grace, I think we just might turn out ok!
