3 Months!

Happy 3 months to my sweet, sweet baby girl!!!

I don't have any stats for you, b/c she won't head to the Dr. again for another few weeks, but I will let you know for her 4 month post!

She is still quite 'robust' (;)) and seems to be growing well... She is much more aware of her surroundings now and it's so fun to watch her learn and grow!

Loves: Her swing, smiling and laughing by throwing her head to the side, kisses and hugs from mommy and daddy, getting her diaper changed, being naked (!), taking a bath, eating!, her car seat (once the car is in motion), taking naps during the day, her play mat, going for a walk (sometimes), being held and rocked by mommy and daddy, looking out the window, staring at lights, ceiling fans, and just staring in general, watching mommy's lips move, trying to coo and talk
new: she started staring at her feet for a while and has just now started grabbing them, she also loves to bat and grab at the things on her playmat, she loves to kick the air and pull her legs in to her stomach really tight (that's often when she pulls on her feet), and she loves to sit up and look around - either in my lap or on the couch/chair, she LOVES a new mobile we got for her crib-- she literally lays there and giggles and coos at it-- cutest thing! I'll have to post video!

Dislikes: Being put in her car seat, her crib (still working on this one...), tummy time, taking a bottle (bummer), being held by a non-parent (hopefully, this gets better!)

As a new mom, I now realize that sleep can NEVER be overrated! The difference in my moods on days with more sleep versus less is staggering! As the sleep has been getting better, this mommy thing is like a piece of cake!

She is as sweet as ever-- smiling and cooing and laughing with James and myself, but she still seems a bit shy around larger crowds and new faces. She also tends to be grumpier on days where we travel, but what baby doesn't, right? Overall, James and I feel blessed beyond measure to have such a beautiful and healthy baby! I promised myself I wouldn't brag too much on here, but she is just SO WONDERFUL!!!!
