So, friends, we were a little disappointed with our Sunday morning experience with the bible study. I'm so sad to report that. The class was not extremely welcoming, some were friendly, but just not to the degree I was expecting. Also, the bible study itself was very laid back and lacking in some depth. I really dislike criticizing the church, so I'll stop there. We are going to try another class next week and hope we get a better feeling.
If not, we have discussed possibly finding a new church in the area that maybe has a more traditional set up or larger groups on Sunday mornings. We still love this church and know it is accomplishing many wonderful things in the community and across the world. But, it still may not be where we need to get plugged in.
